We believe that no two people are exactly alike, and that's why we offer individualized psychotherapy services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Each individual has their own unique set of experiences, challenges, and goals, and therefore requires a personalized approach to therapy.


We provide a wide range of services to assist you in addressing the following conditions:

  • Anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, grief & loss
  • Life Transitions, relationship issues, & work-life balance problems
  • Emotional dysregulation (e.g., this may be due to an underlying condition, such as autism, substance use, or trauma)
  • Stress Management, assertiveness & boundary setting
  • Disability and culture sensitivity


It doesn’t make sense to use a one size fit all approach. We can use EMDR (this is a therapeutic technique) to address a myriad of conditions. EMDR is well-known specifically for processing trauma-related experiences. To learn more about EMDR, click here.

Types of Services Offered

Please note that marriage, couples and family counseling is not offered at this time. If a client is completing individual therapy, and there is a clinical need that benefits the client, to bring in another participant, then limited marriage, couples and/or family counseling may be provided, depending on the circumstances. 

Individual Therapy

Do you have a difficult time managing struggles happening in your life?  

Does it feel like you can’t control it no matter how hard you try? 

Are you worried to talk to other individuals in your life about your problems or those individual’s feedback is ineffective? 

If this sounds like you, then individual counseling could help. My practice offers individual counseling that is tailored to your needs. Individual counseling is different than group counseling in a way that you are the sole focus in individual counseling. 

It’s normal for new or old feelings, thoughts or emotions to come up in counseling/therapy; thus, your services can be re-adjusted at any step of the process. We can help to uncover the underlying causes of your worries and fears, learn how to relax, look at situations in a new, less frightening way, and develop better coping mechanisms and problem-solving skills.

Coaching

“If I only had an instruction manual!” That’s a thought that many people may have when experiencing something new or are looking to take that first step towards a big goal. 

Nothing really prepares you to deal with unexpected situations, new experiences, or taking that first step towards a big goal. 

This is where coaching comes in.

Coaching vs Therapy

Coaching is a bit different from therapy. The focus is on your goals in the present and/or in the future. There is NO component to heal from a past event or experience that has created negative symptoms. Whereas in therapy, there is a therapeutic component to heal in some way (e.g., improve mood, negative symptoms, anxiety, depression, trauma, etc.). You may spend significant amount of time in therapy to explore past events to recognize how they have contributed to current moods and behaviors that you find troubling.  

Also, insurance does NOT provide reimbursement for coaching services; however, it is common for therapy and coaching to simultaneously occur. If you are planning to use your insurance, please be sure to reach out to me and we can discuss this further. 

Who is Coaching For?

Anyone can benefit from coaching services. If you are opening up a new business, or are wanting to make a life or career change, coaching might be for you.
